Rovino • Little Italy
Our Story
A husband-and-wife team, a lifelong dream of opening a restaurant in Little Italy, and a shared belief that the best meals feel like family dinners.
Who We Are
A love story built around food, wine and Little Italy
RoVino is led by husband-and-wife team Frank Anctil and Rosalia Bruno. They met working together at RoVino’s East Village location – Frank in the kitchen, Rosalia in the dining room – and quickly realized they shared the same passion for genuine hospitality and Italian comfort cooking.
Opening RoVino in Little Italy brings together Rosalia’s family roots in the neighborhood and Frank’s decades of culinary experience. It transforms their shared dream of a warm, neighborhood Italian restaurant into a place where guests feel like family the moment they walk through the door.
Frank Anctil
Executive Chef & Owner
With over twenty-five years in kitchens from Philadelphia to San Diego, Frank brings a style that blends classic Italian comfort with modern technique.
He’s happiest on a busy night when the room is full, the rotisserie is turning, and he can spot that first-bite smile from across the dining room.
Rosalia Bruno
General Manager & Owner
Rosalia grew up surrounded by strong Sicilian heritage and a family of entrepreneurs. Hospitality has always been part of her life.
Owning a restaurant in Little Italy has been her dream since childhood. She brings heartfelt hospitality to every table, making guests feel like they’ve arrived at a friend’s home – just with better wine and a lot more rotisserie chicken.
Food, culture & community
RoVino is built around the idea that a good restaurant should feel like a gathering place. The menu leans Italian – rotisserie chicken boards, handmade pasta, crisp salads, Roman-style pinsa and a focused wine list – but the heart of the restaurant is community.
Whether you’re here for a long dinner, a quick glass of wine or a celebration, Frank and Rosalia want RoVino to feel like your spot – warm, familiar and memorable every time.
La vita è buona — especially with a full table.
